What better way to ring in the New Year than with Rufus Wainwright?
Lucy Wainwright Roche, Loudon Wainwright III and Rufus Wainwright did a great show in Park City on New Years Eve and my friend Joel and I were lucky enough to be invited to the reception after to ring in the New Year with these talented performers.
Without getting into too much detail of the concert, here's video of Rufus doing a beautiful version of "11:11" with just him and the guitar (from the Park City performance).
Along with some classics, Mr Wainwright premiered a new song that will soon be heard on his upcoming release: All Days are Nights: Songs for Lulu.
(who is Lulu? I don't know, but this isn't his first mention of her... 11:11)
